Since taking ownership in 2015, she and her husband-business partner, Tony Hill, have worked tirelessly to establish a top-notch destination venue for organizations and individuals. We also offer a variety of à la carte offerings from experts who can add value to your stay. Offerings including strategic planning facilitation, training, team-building activities, catering, and mental health and wellness coaching.

Located at 399 Chalet Beach Road in Matlock, Manitoba, Chalet Point is a property that is designed to inspire. Constructed in 2000, the home is built on the “point” of a peninsula, surrounded by water views. You’ll be dazzled by expansive Lake Winnipeg, the marshlands of the Interlake, and a shimmering golden pond far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s truly the perfect space to foster creativity, innovation, team building, and relaxation.


All workplace retreat bookings include:

  • Private use of Chalet Point’s corporate meeting space with a board table that accommodates twelve people
  • Two break-out rooms
  • A three-piece washroom
  • Kitchenette
  • Billiards table
  • Hot tub
  • Living room
  • Fireplace
  • Accommodation for up to twelve (for overnight booking options)

Facilitation and support are available for your retreat by our owner Dr. Terra Johnston at the rate of $125/hour. If groups are interested, she will provide a complimentary introduction to neurofeedback for peak performance.
